  3. Elvis and Ann were a huge hit in Viva Las Vegas, and could have made more films as a team, just like Fred and Ginger. Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis manager, feared that Ann would steal the scenes, so he nixed any further films with her. Why Elvis did not fire Parker is a mystery, since the man actually damaged Elvis' career, not to mention stealing millions from the star.
